A recycling bin caught fire causing damage to a York home.
At around 8.12 pm yesterday evening, fire crews from Acomb and York responded to multiple calls reporting an incident in the Haxby area.
The blaze from the recycling bin caused a cracked window to the property due to the heat.
A hose reel was used to extinguish the flames, and a thermal camera was deployed to inspect the property.
