Police are investigating a residential burglary that happened in York last night.
Two men gained access to the property on Rose Street by damaging the rear door, before they were disturbed by the homeowner.
The incident took place yesterday (5 January), between 6:35 pm and 6:55 pm.
Location
The suspects are described as two white men in their teens.
One male was wearing a grey tracksuit top with a dark coloured body warmer over the top.
The second man was wearing a two tone grey coloured top.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
“We’re particularly appealing for information about anyone in the area of Rose Street or Haxby Road around the time of the incident and are asking residents to review their CCTV.”
