A motorcyclist is in serious condition in hospital following a collision in North Yorkshire.
The incident occurred at 12:01pm today (29 March) on B6165 Ripley Road at Ripley.
It involved a Black Audi Q5 and BMW S100R motorcycle.
Location
Following the collision, the rider of the motorcycle sustained significant injuries and remains in hospital. The driver of the Audi Q5 is assisting police officers with their enquiries.
The road was closed for several hours to allow for investigation work at the scene and reopened at 6.30pm.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
“We’re now appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dash-cam footage that has not spoken with officers to contact us.”
