Police are investigating an incident where a man followed a group of girls in York.
It happened at 3.40pm last Friday (21 March) as they were walking along Green Lane in Clifton.
The man did not approach or speak to the girls but appeared to follow them as they continued their journey onto Barley Way.

The man is described as being
- Chinese
- around 55 years old
- of medium build
- with black and grey hair.
He was wearing a navy blue hoodie with the logo ‘JAPAN X’, black trousers and trainers. He was seen to be carrying a white carrier bag.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the identity of the man and these remain ongoing. If you have any information that could assist our investigation please call.”
