A lorry fire has been causing problems on the A1M this morning (Friday).
The incident was first reported at 4.42am. The fire is now out, but a lane remains closed on the A1M northbound between junction 50 the A61 to Ripon and junction 51 the A684 Leeming Bar.
Sgt Paul Cording said on Twitter: “Please take care in the area and allow extra time on your commute this morning.”
The AA says traffic is coping well.
