An HGV and a car crashed near Selby this morning (Saturday).
Emergency services were called to Selby Road, Monk Fryston at 8.54am.
Fire crews from Selby, and Garforth and Pontefract in West Yorkshire, alongside a specialist incident support unit from Ripon, went to the incident.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews released the driver from the car, before they were taken to hospital via road ambulance for precautionary checks.”
