Jury in York murder case discharged – Accused to face new trial

The jury in a York murder case were discharged today (Thursday).

Michael Mulvana, 31, of Bright Street, off Leeman Road, York, and Jobie Tyers, from Gate Helmsley, will face a new trial at Leeds Crown Court next year.

They both deny murdering Indrit Mustafaj, 26, of Bradford, in a flat on Vyner Street on 23 November last year, and other charges.

The trial was ended for legal reasons.

Mulvana and Tyers were remanded in custody.
