The York 10K is back this weekend – here are all the road closures for the much-loved charity run event.
Organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, the race is known as Yorkshire’s most scenic 10K. The route explores some of the city’s most historic landmarks, such as the city walls, Clifford’s Tower and York Minster.
The York 10k will take place on Sunday 6 August. Find out more about the event here.
The race will start and finish on Knavesmire Road, close to York Racecourse. The start time is 9:30am, followed by the return of the Arena Group York Mini and Junior runs.
The mini and junior events will also start and finish on the Knavesmire. The junior event will kick off at 11.45am and the mini at 11.48am.

Knavesmire Road will be closed between its junction with Tadcaster Road and Campleshon Road from 12pm on Saturday 5 August 2023 until approximately 3pm on Sunday 6 August 2023.
