Golden age of motoring celebrated as North Yorkshire classic car run returns

Drive through 60 miles of the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors in style – as popular classic car run returns.

Organised by the Ryedale & York MG and Classic Cars Club, the 25th annual Jorvik Run will take place this Sunday, 19 May, starting and finishing at the NY500 Cafe, Pickering.

A ‘classic and interesting’ car show will also be taking place at the venue. TV auctioneer Derek Mathewson from Bangers & Cash will once again be there to judge and give out prizes.

Entry to the run is £20 in advance and £25 on the day. The run will begin from approximately 9am. All cars are welcome!

It is free to enter the car show, which will begin from 10am.

YorkMix will also be there on the day providing entertainment.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, with the YAA helicopter landing at the NY500 Cafe at 2pm – subject to emergencies, of course.
