Fly away to Neverland with Rowntree Players this Christmas.
The York theatre company are back at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre this December for their latest festive dose of family pantomime.
After previous huge successes of Mother Goose and Cinderella, this year the troupe are taking on the beloved tale of Peter Pan.
The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan is at Joseph Rowntree Theatre from Saturday 6 to Saturday 13 December.
Join Wendy, John and Michael as they fly with Peter Pan to the fantastical world of Neverland. Cling onto your seats as Peter and the Lost Boys do battle with the rather nasty Captain Hook and his even nastier bunch of pirates. But fear not as Nanny McFlea and her ever eager apprentice Barkly, are on hand to assist in the most ridiculous of ways!

Expect silly jokes, even sillier slapstick, and plenty of song and dance.
The pantomime is directed by Howard Ella, with musical direction from Sam Johnson and choreography by Ami Carter.
The cast features Hannah King as Peter Pan, Michael Cornell as Nanny McFlea, Laura Castle as Tiger Lily, Gemma McDonald as Barkly, Sara Howlett as Tinkerbell, Jamie McKeller as Captain Hook, Eva Howe as Wendy, Claire Horsley as Gloria, and Sophie Bullivant as Smee.
Rowntree Players has been entertaining the people of Yorkshire for over 100 years, and it was first established in 1912 as the ‘Cocoa Works Dramatic Society’ by workers at the world-famous Rowntree’s Chocolate Factory.
Rowntree Players is a community theatre company that involves volunteers from all over Yorkshire of all ages and abilities both on and off the stage.
Tickets for The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan start from £20 and are available via the Joseph Rowntree Theatre website.
