Fire crews have been tackling a blaze in York this morning.
They were called to the incident in St Stephen’s Square in Acomb before 9am.
A fire in the back garden of a house on the street had got out of control.

Station manager Lee Adkin, from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, told YorkMix that they’d put out the fire with one hosereel jet.
He said: “They had everything in place here to make it safe. But obviously it’s windy today.
“Even though we’ve had a bit of rain, things are still very dry. So if things do catch they can set alight very quickly. So we just advise people be very careful in what they do.”
He said the wind had meant the fire caught hold of trees in the back garden.
Station manager Adkin added: “There’s damage to a fence, to a shed, and obviously to the trees. Nobody was hurt.”
After putting out the fire, the crew carried out some community checks to see if neighbours had smoke alarms.
