A fire was started deliberately in York yesterday evening (Wednesday).
Acomb fire crew was called to reports of a fire in the open at 18:28 pm yesterday, in Acomb.
Firefighters were met with a rubbish fire, measuring approximately 1m2.
The flames were extinguished using buckets of water.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:
“The cause is thought to have been deliberate.”
