Emergency services were called to a small fire in York yesterday.
The fire was close to St Nicholas Fields, in the Tanghall area of the city.
The blaze was found to be in an area of scrubland, and a York fire crew attended the scene following reports at 7:38 pm yesterday evening.
Fire fighters used backpack sprayers to extinguish the flames.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said the incident was then left in the hands of the Police.
