Emergency services called to crash on York road

There was a crash on a road in York last night (Friday).

Emergency services were called to the collision on Askham Lane at 5.55pm.

Two vehicles were involved.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Knaresborough crews assisted police with a two-vehicle road traffic collision.

“No people were trapped or injured.

“Crews isolated the battery of one vehicle.”
