Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following a theft in York.
It happened between 1.45pm and 2.10pm on Thursday 27 June, outside Hungate Community Centre in Bellerby Court.
Several locks on two electric bikes were cut in an attempt to steal the bicycles however, none were taken.
A Bosch operating screen from one of the bikes was stolen.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please contact the police if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist in the investigation.”
