The A64 has reopened after a crash this afternoon (Wednesday).
At 4.02pm, North Yorkshire Police reported that they had been called out to a road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway at Bilbrough.
The westbound carriageway was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
The road has now reopened.
