A man had to be taken to hospital after a vicious attack near a York hotel.
Two men knocked the victim to the ground outside the Hampton by Hilton on Piccadilly at 2.39am on Sunday (27 July).
The unknown assailants kicked him in the ribs and in the head multiple times.
Where it happened
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information and urging any possible witnesses to come forward.
“Specifically, we are trying to identify a taxi driver who was in the area at this time and may have witnessed the incident.”
