Emergency services were called to a commercial property near York early this morning (Friday) following reports of an electrical fire.
Fire crews from Selby, Tadcaster, and York, along with a specialist incident response unit, attended the scene on King Rudding Lane in Riccal at 5:13am.
The fire originated from a diesel generator, located inside a shed.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and isolated the electricity supply to ensure the area was safe.
At 7am, a spokesperson from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service confirmed that crews were still on the scene.
